PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: 30 October 2026.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Federico Maffei, operating under the professional name Fred BTI in Italy. For enquiries or to exercise your data protection rights, please write to [email protected].

2. Information collected

When you use the contact form, you provide your name, email address, selected service and message. You may also voluntarily include project details and links. When you email us directly, we receive your email address and the information you choose to share. Hosting, security and form-delivery providers may process technical information such as IP address, device/browser information and request logs.

3. Why your data is used and legal grounds

We use your contact details and project information solely to answer your enquiry, assess a possible collaboration and, where applicable, prepare a proposal. The legal grounds are steps requested before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and legitimate interests in responding to professional enquiries and maintaining site security (Article 6(1)(f)). We do not subscribe you to marketing lists through this form.

4. Who processes the information

The website is hosted through Cloudflare Pages (website hosting, delivery and security). Contact form submissions are handled by Web3Forms / Web3Creative (form processing, spam prevention and forwarding messages), and then delivered to our email service provider. We also use Google Fonts to display site typography: your browser may connect directly to Google's servers when loading a page. These providers may receive limited technical information necessary to operate their services.

Relevant provider information: Cloudflare privacy policy, Web3Forms privacy policy and Google privacy policy.

5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some providers operate outside the EEA, including the United States and India. Where applicable, international transfers must be governed by suitable safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision. Web3Forms describes these safeguards in its privacy policy and Data Processing Agreement.

6. How long information is kept

If no collaboration follows, we aim to delete enquiry messages and the associated contact details from our own mailbox within 12 months of the last relevant exchange. If a project proceeds, we retain the records needed for the collaboration for its duration and, where necessary, afterwards to comply with legal obligations or defend legal claims. We periodically review and delete information that is no longer needed. Separately, Web3Forms states that submission data stored in its systems may be retained for up to three years. You may request review or deletion, subject to applicable legal exceptions.

7. Cookies and external resources

The website's source code, as reviewed on 30 October 2026, does not include advertising cookies or behavioural profiling scripts. Essential security measures may be used by the hosting infrastructure. The browser may make requests to Google Fonts. If analytics or other tracking tools are enabled later (including through the hosting dashboard), this notice and the need for prior consent will be reviewed and updated.

8. Your rights

Under applicable data protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and obtain data portability where applicable. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). To submit a request, email [email protected].

9. Updates

We may update this notice when the website's features or providers change. The latest version is published here with its update date.
